Background: Icarus was a male Dathomirian Zabrak. Together with his brother Scorn, Icarus worked as a thug in service of the Zabrak criminal leader and Sith, Maul, during the early Imperial Era. Together with a group of Mandalorians led by Rook Kast, Scorn and Icarus raided a bank tower in Janix city belonging to crime lord Nico Deemis. Later, the brothers assisted Maul in his attack on the Janix Civil Defense HQ to free the crime lord and Maul’s former associate Looti Vario. After his capture, Vario was sent by Maul to the Pyke Palace on Oba Diah to deliver crates of credits to the Pyke Syndicate. After arriving, Icarus’s brother Scorn, pretending to be Maul, exited the ship and attacked the Pykes with Maul’s lightsaber before he was stunned in the back by Vario. Scorn was delivered in front of the Pykes’ leader, Illustrious Imperator, Marg Krim. Krim recognized him as not being Maul, but Maul entered the room and killed Krim and many of his guards.
Icarus had orange skin, red eyes, and light-colored horns. Similarly to Maul and Scorn, his face and body were covered with dark blue tattoos, including the entirety of his ears. He wore black clothing with bare arms and often hid the lower half of his face behind a black cowl. He was considered hulking and imposing. Icarus was loyal soldier to Maul and found unbridled glee in using his heavy rotary blaster cannon in combat. In close combat, he was also able to expertly wield a machete and also used a WESTAR-35 blaster pistol. Icarus also possessed some mechanical skills, as he repaired Maul’s cybernetic legs[9] after his duel with Jedi Master Eeko-Dio Daki.
